OTC Markets Group, operator of premier US financial marketplaces, is accepting applications for a Human Resources Intern to join us for the summer. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to all people-related operations as well as learn about the fintech industry.

The internship will span nine (9) weeks, beginning on June 17 and ending on August 16. You will be exposed to several business lines, will have a chance to attend company presentations and learn about the nature of our business. 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in HR automation projects
  • Coordinate tracking and reconciling of Paid Time Off (PTO) and leaves of absence.
  • Research volunteer opportunities we can make available to our staff.
  • Document internal HR processes to support drafting manuals and policies.
  • Assist in ad hoc employee requests like employment verifications, employer support letters, etc.
  • Monitor HR trends on benefits best practices, and compensation structures.
  • Assist in recruitment by posting job ads and scheduling interviews for the hiring teams.
  • Participate in the onboarding of new hires.
  • Assist in ad hoc research projects on employee benefits reconciliations, and, regulatory compliance, etc.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a college degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with automation MS Office tools (Mail Merge, Excel Macros, VBA).
  • Technologically savvy and curious about finding solutions.
  • Interest in learning the people side of business operations.
  • Trustworthiness and impeccable moral code.
  • Experience in customer service-oriented role.

OTC Markets is currently operating in a hybrid work environment (three days in office, two days remotely).

This is a paid opportunity: $25/hour.
