OTC Markets Group Inc., operator of premier US financial marketplaces, is seeking an Associate, Investor Access to join our Investor Access team based in our New York office. The Investor Access team assists public companies in gaining investor visibility and broadening their shareholder base through participation in the Virtual Investor Conference series. The team owns critical processes across conference operations, sales, marketing, and product management, utilizing sophisticated proprietary event management and 1x1 Meeting platforms, and the MS Office suite to drive results.

This role offers hands-on experience coordinating end-to-end event logistics, nurturing client relationships, and overseeing the 1x1 meeting scheduling functionality within our Conference platform. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Marketing, Client Relations, Legal, and Accounting to ensure successful event execution and client satisfaction.

Please note OTC Markets is currently operating in a hybrid work environment (three days in office, two days remotely). This position is located in our NYC office.

Base compensation for this role is up to $60,000 annually, depending on experience, plus quarterly commissions. In addition, the position is also eligible for our discretionary annual bonus program.


What You’ll Do:
  • Coordinate Conference Operations: handle administrative and operational activities before, during, and after Virtual Investor Conferences (VIC). 
  • Contribute to Revenue Growth: Proactively sell VIC presentation packages to Corporate Services clients, including NYSE and NASDAQ issuers, to achieve and surpass sales targets.
  • Strategic Planning & Collaboration: Partner closely with Client Relations and Sales teams to ensure all relevant companies are informed of upcoming VIC opportunities.
  • Business Development: Identify, contact, and nurture relationships with new partners and clients to expand our network and meet department revenue goals. - 
  • Assist with Marketing Coordination: Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure timely and effective promotion of conference materials and events.
  • Cross-Departmental Teamwork: Work frequently with internal departments—including Accounting, Legal, and others—to support seamless event execution.
  • Product Management: Oversee the 1x1 meeting scheduling functionality within the VIC platform, ensuring a smooth user experience.
  • Vendor Relations: Serve as a point of contact for new and existing vendors, assisting with the integration, and troubleshooting of VIC add-ons and enhancements.
  • Client Support: Guide VIC clients through onboarding and provide ongoing support and communication post-conference.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Comfortable working across multiple time zones to support global events.
  • Additional Projects: Take on special projects and other duties as assigned to support team success.


What We’re Looking For:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of proven sales or revenue-generating experience, ideally in a B2B or event management environment.
  • Team Player: Willing to work collaboratively in an open office with a small, dynamic team.
  • Initiative: Demonstrates strong personal leadership and the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
  • Analytical Skills: Capable of conducting research and analysis of publicly traded companies to assess their fit for VIC events.
  • Self-Starter: Motivated, quick to learn, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Customer Focus: Experience providing high-level customer service and support via phone and email.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specific procedures and guidelines.
  • Multitasking: Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with event management software is a plus.
  • Event Management: Prior experience or knowledge in event planning or coordination is highly desirable.
