OTC Markets Group Inc., operator of premier US financial marketplaces, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer, to join our Technology team. The QA Engineer will work with the Development and QA Teams to understand the business and system requirements and test scenarios respectively related to the applications we build or modify the automation framework. This individual will be part of an agile team responsible for analyzing product functionality, designing test strategies, and executing test scenarios both manually and through automated test frameworks built with JavaScript.

What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with our development teams to ensure high-quality outcomes throughout the Agile development lifecycle, encompassing architecture, story definition, development, testing, and release.
- Develop Test cases and execute various types of testing, such as Functional, Integration, Regression, Data Validation, User Interface, that ensure high-quality software is delivered in every release
- Troubleshoot application issues and report technical findings to development
- Write and maintain UI test automation (JavaScript) to cover critical integrations and end-to-end workflows
- Additional responsibilities, as assigned.
- You have 3+ years of experience in QA and test automation in Web or a Bachelor's in Computer Science
- 2 + years of experience in JavaScript (ES6 and higher)
- Good understanding of databases and AWS Services.
- Good knowledge of SQL and some experience with databases: PostgreSQL, Informix, MySQL
- Experience with the latest tools and industry best practices UI test automation (e.g. Playwright/WebDriver IO)
- Linux and GIT knowledge
- Ability to diagnose application issues (reviewing application logs, reviewing server stats, etc.)
- Clear understanding of the following tech/tools:
- Automation Languages: JavaScript
- Automation Frameworks: Playwright, Jasmine
- API Testing: Jasmine, JavaScript
- Database: Postgres, Informix
- Backlog Management & Collaboration: Jira, Teams
