OTC Markets Group Inc., operator of premier US financial marketplaces, is seeking a Qualifications Specialist
to join our Issuer Services team, in our Washington DC office.

OTC Markets operates in a hybrid work environment (three days in office, two days remotely). This position works out of our Washington DC office.


Base compensation for this role is up to $90,000 annually, depending on experience. In addition, this position is eligible for our discretionary annual bonus program.


What You’ll Do:
  • Analyze listing applications and related materials and to determine if a company meets the eligibility requirements for our OTCQX, OTCQB and OTCID markets.  
  • Evaluate regulatory and criminal backgrounds of key personnel, including officers, directors and large shareholders.
  • Conduct daily reviews of companies to ensure continued compliance, including reviewing company financial reports, news and corporate action history.  
  • Collect and verify public company profile data published for investors, broker dealers, other market participants.
  • Provide guidance and support to companies, advisors and internal groups on listing standards.
  • Project Work – Contribute to initiatives like developing new listing rules, internal procedures and new technologies.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in a compliance, finance, accounting or similarly related role.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, including quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Experience with US GAAP and/or IFRS is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people at various levels within the organization.
  • Significant levels of customer communication and support both over the telephone and via email.
  • Detail-oriented and able to adhere to specific procedural requirements.
