OTC Markets is accepting applications for an international sales opening within its Corporate Services Department.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business development and building relationships with C- level executives of listed companies.  Our clients include domestic and international companies, both public and private. The successful candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of a geographical region and taking full responsibility for sales from origination to closing.

 

The person should develop a deep understanding of their assigned region and subject matter (Alternative trading venues, SEC/FINRA regulations, market structure, corporate governance, etc.). Full training is provided but success will depend on the individual having a keen sense of curiosity and the ability to work independently. Participating in a series of sales and marketing events include taking a pro-active role in panel discussions, attending industry conferences, and accepting speaking opportunities a requirement.

 

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of international equity and cross border trading;
  • Experience of financial markets or Investor Relations;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred;
  • Demonstrated ability to perform lead generation through target account selling, outbound cold calling and calling on marketing-generated leads;
  • Salesforce CRM experience helpful;
  • 5+ years in a sales role;
  • Time management and a strong commitment to sales process is essential;
  • Previous experience preparing and delivering formal presentations to professional groups and organizations strongly preferred;
  • Some travel required.
